Madrid

Here we are in Madrid. Staying just outside the city centre, we took the metro into the centre for a grand total of about 6 Euros for both of us return. In fact everything in Spain seems cheaper than France and  the UK. 
Forgot to say that yesterday we got into the Aljaferia palace for one euro each because we were over 65 ( only just of course). 
Coffees and snacks are reasonable too.
We wandered around the centre of Madrid having tapas of course, and beers and ice creams, just like regular tourists.
Extra. Frozen orange juice in Madrid , just like the song. Well it’s mango really but the right colour. Tapas, Plaza Mayor in the city centre , some amazing rock formations we saw on the way here. A bookshop where I disobeyed the notice about taking photos.
