I went to the National Museum of Scotland today to see the Declaration of Arbroath which is currently on display. Written in 1320 it is very fragile and is rarely on public display. This may be the last chance in my lifetime, so I wasn't going to miss it. It was in a glass case in a darkened room and no photos were allowed. Really glad I went. My blip is the words from the most quoted part which were on a wall and a mounted copy of the Declaration which I bought. I'll have it framed for my study to go alongside other versions I already have.
