Pensive Pup.
Another very warm day - 25+C - and we passed a bit of time sitting in the sitooterie and keeping reasonably cool.
We did a wee expedition though. The RAF are retiring their fleet of Hercules transport planes and a fly-past flight tour of the U.K. was planned. We checked out the flight path and drove over to a spot near Edinburgh airport where we were reasonably confident of a view of the three big aircraft. However, on watching progress on radar, we spotted a change of route. Rather than overflying Edinburgh, they veered west and flew over Glasgow at 20,000 feet. I would love to know why. Anyway, it was a very pleasant run, if a bit warm in the car. (Maybe I should get the air conditioning refurbished)
