Magnificent

I am not a Catholic. I've never quite understood how one could be "born" a Catholic... surely you're just born a human and then you add on stuff from there? Not sure - not knocking it by the way! No offence intended!

I do know one thing. Their churches are absolutely magnificent and inspire reverence and awe in a way that some plain old protestant churches don't match.

But then, maybe that was the intention - to remove all the "adornments" (for the sake of a better word) and allow the worshipper to just focus on the Sacred and the Divine.

Who knows. Each to their own. If only we could all learn to shuffle along this difficult path shoulder to shoulder and not hate those who are different to us.
