Green grow the rushes tho

It never fails to astound me when the allotment suddenly becomes full .

We seem to have empty beds for so
Long. Nothing growing. Everything in pots in the greenhouse

And then suddenly….. boom

This is only one of our plots

We have two beds of strawberries; French beans, B-road beans, soya beans, spinach, kale, carrots, parsnip, peas, potatoes, squash and pumpkin.

…. I think that is everything! Oh sunflowers sweet peas, and gypsophila…

The other plot has potatoes, sweet corn, purple cabbage, cauliflower and Brussels, onions and garlic…

Not bad eh?

We have just hulled 890grams of strawberries three nights hall a punnet each night. More jam tomorrow

It’s quite amazing. I’ve already made one jar; we had a plate of strawberries each and a strawberry tart…. This is the most we have ever grown. Is amazing
