(re)cycling

There is an acute shortage of bike parking places in Oxford and as a result people lock their (our) bikes to all sorts of inappropriate things - lamp-posts, street signs, fences... Or lock two to a frame, as here, which makes it harder to get out the bike on the adjacent frame. Some people even lock bikes to scaffolding though that's a a step too far for me.

So I shall be sending this photo to the City Council asking why their recycling department is obstructing the work of their cycling department. There's plenty of room to move these bins a bike-width rightwards in a way that will inconvenience no-one.
