POCKET of GOLD
7:17am: Sun’s starting to light Kawaneeche valley
(Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado)
Not seeing much wildlife on my way into the park,
I drove to where Trail Ridge Road starts climbing up to the Continental Divide.
I parked at the Colorado Trailhead to kill some time.
Hoping more wildlife would walk into view on my way out of the park.
A little warmer this morning, so I walked to this small meadow where the Aspens were getting a shot of sunlight.
Shooting a tinge of yellow. Covering the small meadow and trees.
Creating a pocket of gold.
Until tomorrow,
Kathee
