Life on the wharf.
I took a few shots in the Port today after a meeting with the Cancer Society who I drive for now and again but this shot was chosen as there is so much going on in it.
The ship, Silver Hague, is a 183 metre petro/chemical ship delivering petrol and diesel to Nelson.
Two of the three wharf cranes with the one on the left I believe is a condemned unit with many cracks in the main tower.
The forklifts cost around quarter of a million dollars each with the grey crane was six million so its not a cheap operation
The ship sails tomorrow morning and a container ship is out in the bay waiting to replace it.
A great afternoon walk with Kasper and as he is getting older it wears him out more than it used to and he's already sleeping well.
As the Blip shows the weather is still magnificent but its due to be cloudy tomorrow and potentially rain on Sunday.
