Cheviot hills...
...on a hazy summer's morning.
Jacqui and Fletch paid us a brief visit first thing - the furthest Jacqui has walked since her op. Good to see that her recovery is progressing well, though much more slowly than she would like.
Then brunch (it was too late by then to call it breakfast!). The Terrace Cafe was shut, so we went to the one in Millfield. On the way back, views of the Cheviot hills.
After that it was another day of sorting out and cleaning before MrM loaded up the van. Still too much stuff from MrM's workshop to fit in to the van this time, so we'll have to collect it on our next trip, which will hopefully be the final one before completion on the sale of the flat. Fingers - and toes - crossed. Eventually we set off back to Holmfirth, a journey beset with delays caused by roadworks, and one one long hold-up for no apparent reason. Time for bed when we got back - MrM has to be up at 4.00am tomorrow.
