Kings lynn

We did most of the town trail in Kings Lynn today. The tide was out so there wasn’t much water next to the quay. The top picture is a double ended boat used to catch cockles. It was once one of the biggest ports in England. The statue is Captain George Vancouver. He sailed to Vancouver USA and to Vancouver Island Canada. I assume he also went to mainland Vancouver in Canada. My son and I stayed in Vancouver USA last spring where there was a similar statue to this one. The theatre is in the oldest Guildhall in England. A very nice lady from the box office showed us round.
