Talawa Firsts.
A busy Thursday.
Morning in Leicester photographing a production part of The Spark Festival, then a hop skip and a jump to catch a train to London to photograph at Talawa Theatre.
Talawa has a new studio season, now in its second year, dedicated to developing and showcasing the best in Black British writing and upcoming directors. Today they had their meet and greet with all the companies, so I was there to document the afternoon and create some portraits so they can be used for media and introduce the creatives.
Pictured is a couple gents working together, writer DD Armstrong and director Roy Alexander Weise.
