Blowsy

More jobs today, lots of small but necessary ones.  We've had our first quotation for solar panels, now awaiting contact from the other selected companies before we make a final decision.  

The poppies have erupted today in all parts of the garden.  These are the blowsy ones which have attracted countless bees throughout the day.  They don't last for long but they keep putting out flowers for a while, so that's okay.  No doubt they will populate more of the garden before next year!

The Hobblers are not running in this heat but we are walking instead.  Hobbler S is recovering well from her major surgery and, according to Strava today, she has completed a 1.6km walk which is really positive.  We will look forward to her re-joining us when she is up to it.  Meanwhile, four of us had a catch up walk across the moor in the late afternoon sunshine.
