Even Jonah

When Jonah was angry in Jonah 4, I always wondered why. This place reminded me of that chapter where he sat overlooking Nineveh angry at God and wanting to die. God making it all work out and showing such grace is enough for the shame of our shriveled, broken and tiny souls to rather die than to accept His grace. The fact that the Almighty God gives a crap about us should make us tremble to the ground, terrified by the light and mercy. He gives a crap about you. Beyond that He LOVES you too. And you will NEVER do anything about that. I've felt just like Jonah so many times. But God is patient and ready to take you back and have you lean on Him and let Him help you cope and deal with crushing love.
