Decking removal

I have been here two years and I hate decking. We didn't have Alan Titchmarsh in Germany - nor often a garden to mess up. Anyway, John and Steve, the kitchen fitters, were game to remove the decking. Unbelievably, it looked much better than we expected without the decking, and it can stay like this for a while. The decking may have been there for four years and there was a bit of rot on one side.
The first extra shows what the patio looks like now. Unfortunately one brief owner painted the builder's shed blue and white and the fence pink. I seem to spend all my time reversing what went wrong in the last six years.
