A Perfect Day

In the evening, I realised I had had a totally perfect summer day. The highlights were having for lunch the pike my son had captured, reading a novel on a mattress under the apple trees, and a long swimming trip by the whole family (all enjoying).

In addition, I noticed something on my hibiscus that look like buds. She has not flowered before and she's only about a year old, so I really doubt my perception. We'll see!
