Barrels

Yesterday I drove down to Devon to stay with friends for a few days.  The temperature is extremely warm!  34 degrees in the shade!  L and I did venture out in the morning to an antique centre based in an old cider factory.  There were many shady rooms in the cool.  These old barrels were for sale mostly complete and some had been halved, I wonder whether they had held cider at one time .....

Back at the house we just lay in the shade in the garden on reclining chairs there was nothing else we could do in this weather!
