Good company!

This is a back blip as we were too busy having fun yesterday! This was a quick shot to show the ever nosy Johnny our food. Ginger’s family had called so she had to answer. We kept cell phones to a minimum as we explored the town where my cousin Kerry lives.( Reddish shirt.) Both of these ladies are repurposers and roadside scavengers. Ha No, literally. We found some old house shutters in a burn pile near the road. Kerry had seen them there for weeks but could not catch anyone hone. The pile kept growing and the shutters were being buried. We stoped but no on home so we just dug them out. It was obviously a burn pile and it looks as though the house is abandoned. One of the shutters has square nails in it so it is very old! We want to make a cabinet or something with them. Ginger and I also got 2 really nice old windows at Habitat for $5 each!! Kerry did good. She bought nothing but our lunch! :—)) she is quite the collector of primitive antiques, which Ginger loves. G enjoyed seeing Kerry’s house. Her collections are extensive. The best part of the day, though, was being with these two precious people and watching them form a bond. They are my posse. :—)) My safe people.
We are so alike. All of us are very family centered and have never run with the crowd. We didn’t have time nor inclination. Kerry and I are 7-8 years older than G and have settled into retirement. G is entering the time when her daughter is grown and her husband is retired and has his golf and his friends. She now understands the importance of having deep connections with like minded people. I love how Father connects us!
Be blessed!
