Blood letting ! !

Yes it's strange to say but when I trained to be a nurse we were still being taught how to apply Leaches. It's not imaginable that even in the 50's that was being taught. Thankfully I neither had to carry out this procedure or see it done! Not sure it ever was!
However I had to have the usual monitoring via a blood test this afternoon, all done & dusted for another few months.
It is still very hot here , do Hope it's an enjoyable day for you all& have a good evening
