Flowers on Fifth Avenue …

…. across from the Metropolitan Museum.

We spent much of this afternoon visiting the spectacular exhibition “Van Gogh’s Cypresses” at the Metropolitan Museum.
It was much larger than we expected and had a wealth of drawings as well as paintings containing cypresses, many of which we had never seen before. Highly recommended if you are in New York City before it closes on August 27th.
