Flower Friday...Poppies

It had to be the red poppies today, so vibrant and prolific and interspersed with shades of lilac and pink...at times, there must be forty or fifty bees in the garden...thanks Bikerbear:)
Hot with a breeze again, took the bus to meet up with S before we went to Bfriend...all things Egyptian today. The best bit, nibbles with hummus, dates and figs!...All is still in the garden, anticipating some rain  and thunderstorms maybe in the next day or so.....phew:)
