Kew Gardens

School trip to Kew. All going so well until just before lunch and we were heading to the loos.  Walking along happily chatting to the children where I didn’t spot a little pot hole on the path and whatever happened I went flying.  I was trying desperately not to fall but the momentum just got the better of me.  Two bashed knees and a sore wrist/hand.  As I stood up, I felt a bit wobbly so I suggested the teacher took the children to the toilet and I’d sit under a tree for a minute or two, gather myself together and have a drink.

I did catch up with them not long after.  As the afternoon progressed the side of my hand swelled slightly but it was the ungrazed knee that was quite sore and a bit swollen that hurt. By the time we got back to school my teacher suggested I had my hand checked as did Mr C when I got home.

Lucy and I spent the evening in A&E, picking the day of a doctors strike to have a fall was not the best.  Anyway, all ok . A very small chance of a small fracture but nothing major and I was given a splint to wear for a week or two.  Just a bit bashed and bruised.  We got home about 11.30pm.

There are many coincidences between Heartfreek and myself and this is just another one to add to our list after her fall last week :-D. What are we like?!
