Wild

Three younger heifers out today. These had never been out and it showed. The brown one jumped over the steel fence soon after this, breaking the white fence tape above it, ran through the yard and across the road, stopped after dropping into the ditch, turned back when I and Jussi approached, stopped on the yard, where I managed to turn her towards the barn. On the next round she stayed inside the fence, at least so far, for five hours now.

Before the rodeo we tedded the hay and helped nephew #1 fix his car temporarily (*). Afterwards we took the movable shed to the large pasture to provide shelter from the hot sun. It was +27.5°C today.

*) It blew hot coolant on his feet yesterday as he was about to turn to his home road coming home after finishing his military service! Last week Triinu had a serious fight with a cat, while trying to clean a wound, and two weeks ago Jussi cut his finger. When will this end? And where?
