The Time the Clock Stopped

A time never to be forgotten by any one who lives in Christchurch.

The Victoria Clock Tower has just started to be fixed. At 12:51 on February 22, 2011 the Christchurch earthquake hit and the clock tower was seriously damaged. It is good to see the work starting on its repair.

I have taken a number of photos over the months and have them on Flickr.

After a cold start to the day because of a heavy frost, it warmed up. I also had some good news today ACC are going to fund my operation on my knee. I had a phone call this afternoon and should get a letter next week. SO very good news at last!
