Honeysuckle

9.40 pm is leaving it a bit late to take a flower photo. The hedging around us at Holly is a real mixed bag - yew, hazel, holly, hawthorn, spindle, with a lot of bramble and bracken, and now honeysuckle coming through. Is that insect feeding, or settling in for the night ?

It is a really warm evening. We had our meal outside, then relaxed. Hearing kids laughing and enjoying playing out late reminded me of those long summer days outside when I was a youngster. The cool of the very late evening had a real freedom about it.,
