Dinner

Today began with another early morning walk in the Estate with Django. I went as far as I could and still get back home in time for a shower and catch the bus into work. There I had a meeting with Y and another member of our software team (F), and then an online catch-up meeting with И.

After lunch I divided my time between programming and supervising Y, until it was time for us to go to dinner at a Japanese restaurant in the centre of Edinburgh. Also there were F, his Chinese girlfriend S, my PhD student J and a Japanese post-doc. It was a real joy to hang out with five smart and sociable young people.
