A change is as good as a .....

So the Nespresso packed up. They are now ridiculously expensive. Will seen if reduced in the sales.

Meanwhile bought this macchinetta Bialetti which arrived today, and got some Lavazza Qualita Rossa ground coffee. Used to have one in the days before all these fancy machines came along.

Mr B so far very unhappy. He loved his Nespresso. He WANTS it replaced.

Have arranged to try coffee at a friend tomorrow. She has a Lavazza machine (like the Nespresso). She says it's very good, and is a 'coffee connoisseur'. Methinks it will be a challenge to get Mr B to change, he's very set in his ways.

As for the tiny 2-cup macchinetta in the pic, for the moment it will do me fine.

Warm but pleasant, with low humidity. Went to Southbourne for Radicchio, and then Boscombe for bread. Mr B went home to watch the tennis in Nottinham - while I had a wander round Lidl, Aldi and Primark. Then up to G, who's been away for 4 weeks, for a mint tea.
