LINDHEIMER’s BEE BLOSSOM
This wild flower is in the Evening Primrose family & grows in masses on the hillsides,
here in Southern California. This morning, on our walk, we saw this tiny patch,, up against a wall. It is unusual to see so many native plants still blooming; but, we continue to have cool June Gloom weather, with a dash of moisture. It’s great to see.
Last night a predator came & ate a goldfish in my fountain. I found fish scales all around. In response, I rigged up a cover to protect them tonight. I am sure this hungry critter will return. This fish has lived
6 years, a good long life; but I have become fond of it. I hope the others will be safe, now.
I am off to snuggle up after getting
my #2 MODERNA Bivalant COVID VACCINE.
I scheduled it for late afternoon, so I could get a lot done before & have time to relax, after. They “kick me to the curb” for a day or so; but, the last 5 vaccines have done their job.
Have a great weekend!
