Botero

Today I visited the exhibition “Botero The Master,” at the Museum of Latin American Art in Long Beach, CA. Fernando Botero, the renowned Colombian artist, whose rounded and finely crafted voluptuous figures have traveled the world, turned 90 and is still painting. This exhibit is part of the celebration of 6 decades of work covering a variety of subjects in different media, artworks that speak a universal language with a tropical flair.
Hats off to maestro Botero.
