A day of two halves!

An early morning as it was so muggy, but while Reggie was still asleep on our bed we sat in the awning and watched two beautiful Red Squirrels feeding and playing. I got a couple of good pictures.

Then mid morning Reggie got up, stretched, shook his head and opened up what we now know to be an infected bite or cut on his sarcoma, on his head.

A trip to the emergency vets in Penrith, and all sorted for now!

Reggie slept off his sedation while we tackled the caravan, awning and car. They may never fully recover! We will both need some replacement summer clothes but at least it doesn’t look like a crime scene now!
