Galloping anthropomorphism?

Way back here - It returned from Sabbatical.  More recently it had another short holiday, then returned weed-laden.  I unearthed a huge clod and laid it on top.  Today I totally removed it and saw a whole new "Crop" beside it.
    I also noticed an earlier, almost identical, thumbnail.
