Up 'Anley Duck!

Breakfast and a bit of shopping at M & S this morning. Then we had to sign some official papers today at our solicitors in Hanley at lunch time. Across from there is the Potteries Museum & Art Gallery with this sculpture outside.

It is the author Arnold Bennett who was born in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent.

I went with a black and white image as it was so sunny that the sky was rather bland and it was quite a shadowy image.

Late this afternoon we visited Trentham Gardens for a picnic, as is our tradition at least once each summer.
