Cornish Curse
( Look closely at the yellow Sticker
It actually says something like “ Bramm orth Bretmes, a Fart to Brexit, A Cornish Curse - traditional" )
Evora, Portugal, a beautiful walled city. Incredibly hot today. We went for a look around the narrow streets of the old town and had lunch by this temple. After that we went off to look for the Chapel of bones, a fascinating place where dead people’s bones were used to construct a chapel. (Extra) There was also a vast collection of all types of nativity scenes from a private collection which had been donated to the museum there.
This is a Roman Temple built in the time of Augustus in the first century AD. Lasted well hasn’t it!
In the UK our Roman remains have mostly become ruins. Rather like our more recent association with Europe
