Close Finish

After last nights phone call I went to bed around 1.00 , Julie rang me around 3.00 to say she was ready to come home so I got dressed and went and picked her up and then back to bed until  around 8.30  apart from Minstrel wanted feeding at 6.00.
I decided to cut my hair this morning as it wanted trimming  before Julie headed back up to the hospital to see how her Dad was getting on. Still stuck in A&E this was the case until mid afternoon when it was decided he would be staying in and a ward was found for him.
This afternoon I took a trip up to the Brayford as there was the annual Dragon Boat racing going on. So here is aa blip from the 2nd semi-final of a very close finish . More shots from other races can be seen  HERE .

This evening another trip over to Metheringham to pick up some items for his stay in hospital. They have decided he has an infection in his hand that is all in his joints which is causing him a lot of pain and as his body is trying to fight it giving him a high temperature.
Back home now and time to relax with some Challenge cup rugby League which I recorded this afternoon . We will also enjoy a drink as we both need one.
Tomorrows planned trip to watch Wigan play has been cancelled as Julies Dad is going to have an operation to check out the extent of the infection and also hopefully clean out the joints , the hospital had suggested Julie be on hand if needed  so we will stay at home and watch it on TV.
