Guid Nychburris

Today were the Guid Nychburris (Good Neighbours) celebrations in Dumfries. A traditional festival involving ride outs, the crowing of the Queen of the South, a colourful parade etc.
This is an annual day of pageantry which marks the town becoming a Royal Burgh. This celebration commenced in 1932.
