Raincoats required

We didn't hear the thunderstorm overnight but woke to heavy skies and heavy showers. Took the hotel shuttle bus into skiathos town and had a wander around the harbour and then through the narrow streets of the old town. It eventually stopped raining, and we had lunch before catching the local bus back to the hotel.
We sat by the pool for a short while in the afternoon, but too windy and cold so went for a walk down the beach instead. It was strange seeing the beach so quiet and empty.
