Coffee and Cake

Pre-Covid we often went into Swaffham on Saturday to visit the market and go to the local church, St Peter and St Paul, for coffee and home made cakes.
Covid stopped this  (and the market) and we lost the habit. Towards the end of the main covid outbreaks we saw a sign advertising Coffee and Cakes in the church again. We almost got into the church when we noticed the word "Jaffa" in very small writing before the word Cake. We did not go.
Today we did go in and found it was as nice as we remembered it. A lot of home made cakes, the makers were also the ladies who served you so there were lots of smiles when complements about the cakes were handed out.  I had a Norfolk Shortbread slice, never had one before but it was very nice. And it raises money for a good cause, the church, so everyone is happy.
