Domestication

It’s been a day of domestication. Andy was out very early to play golf so I walked and entertained Merlin this morning. At 11.30 I popped to the bakery and bought their last loaf of bread - apparently they had been exceptionally busy!

This afternoon I have mainly been fiddling with flowers. First these from the garden, and later a much bigger and impressive bunch from the allotment which I used to create a bouquet for our neighbours who we visited for dinner this evening - a thank you from them to us for looking after their two cats and three fish whilst they were on holiday.

It’s been more cloudy and a little cooler today, with a few light sprinklings of rain. Weather that has made me feel quite lethargic.
