Sandpit

Thought we were organised this morning, but arrived at H's swimming lesson to find I had left her swim bag on the settee. That's 3 in a row she has missed so not doing much to help her confidence!
Quick visit to Next to swap a baby present I had bought then home for lunch and play in the garden. It was a lovely day. The sand table seemed to be the toy if choice and Oscar had great fun eating lots if sand! He thinks the spades are giant spoons and the rakes are giant forks.

Afternoon was visiting my friend Mairi and her new baby Yvie. She seemed so small and fragile. Holly and Oscar were very well behaved and had more fun playing outside in the evening.

Oscar appears to ha e learned a new little dance which involves stamping his feet very quickly. And he still wants to escape at any opportunity - he is devastated at being brought inside. We can't remember Holly pining at the window to get out like a little cat.
