Mail

This is the girls collecting the mail for me after school today.

Everyone will be very happy to hear that I was extremely proactive today and I organised the lady at my local cake decorating shop to make Maya's cake for next Sat.

I have been going to her shop for the last 3 or so years to buy ingredients or decorations, or to rent cake tins to make the girls cakes. But today I asked her to make it (I think she was a little shocked actually...I'm the type of person who goes back in afterwards to show her a photo of the finished cake hahaha). I don't even have any idea whether she makes good cakes!! I haven't even seen one cake she's made. I just know that she's really nice and always helpful, and she holds classes in cake decoration, so therefore I trust her :) Maya was very specific in what she wanted, so that made it easy.

She wants a star shaped cake with pink icing, purple around the edges, and yellow stars for decoration.

Anyway, we will see.

Hope you are all having a good beginning to the weekend. Maya has parties to go to both days, and I have presents to buy, and lolly bags to organise, and a dress to buy (for maya to wear), not to mention a house to clean, but that might have to wait until next Tues and Fri on my days off.

Ok I've just stressed myself out. So easy to do...
