Beamsley Beacon Fell Race

Another year ticked off. It was hot ... and so dry and hard underfoot that I wore my road flats!

Forrest finished 9th and claimed his first fell running prize as part of the winning Ilkley Harriers team. He won a box of Maltesers!

At the end, I sneaked a look at the winner's trophy to find the year I won this race. It was 1994. I was slightly surprised. I thought it was earlier.
