Day 2: Inverness
Following the delicious breakfast at Rendezvous, I head off to Inverness museum where I got excited by taxidermy of different wildlife. The eagle, as noted by an employee of the museum was smaller
than a sea eagle he had spotted in Isle of Skye. Next, I planned to cycle through the ness islands and then to botanical gardens.
I noted that the Inverness botanical garden was much smaller than the one in Edinburgh. But was still quick nice. Ness islands were quite exciting too - I saw some people having a picnic there.
Next, two kind gentlemen recommended I cycle to Durmanloch (spelled incorrectly) which is right at the mouth of Loch ness and is the way to there is along a Calendonian Canal, which was exciting.
The cycling along the Canal was smooth, and I quite enjoyed it. On the way back, I stuffed myself with a veggie burger, and some juice at a restaurant located right at the end.
After this, I came back to the accomodation and lay my legs flat for a while and decide to eat at the Kitchen Restaurant, a fab end to the day.
