Day 3: Urquhart Castle

I had noted from Eildth( landlady at Castle View - my accomodation) that the journey to Urquhart Castle will take twice the amount of time than what Google maps declared. She mentioned this over a nice cup of tea!

However, I still daringly took the ride. However, I had realised almost covering 75% of the way to the castle, that it was too dangerous. Particularly because of my slowness and fast moving vehicles. So, I decided that instead of directly going to castle I stop over at Calman hotel where I could take a ferry around Loch ness.

So, in the meantime to the ferry, I had something to drink as I was thirsty and decided to buy some crisps for the ferry ride. My bike was stored next to late Yash Chopra (Indian Director famous for his romantic movies featuring Shah Rukh Khan) . I found the hack quite amusing, so did the Scottish lad who was assisting with vehicle parking a the hotel. He noted that it was unsafe to cycle without a neon coloured vest - I should get this soon.

So, on the cruise, I quite enjoyed. A lot of nessie was discussed. Unfortunately I didn’t spot (but it could have gotten scared of me?). I managed to spot some nice stuffed Nessie toys at Calman’s gift shop.

After, all of this, I cycled my way back to the accomodation and then headed for a concert at Eden Court. The concert was a recording of Berlineer Orchestra. I could not help but complain how boring it was. Perhaps more interesting for others who researched more than me, who acted impulsively. I dined (poshly) at the Torrish Hotel. It was a nice meal, but I don’t think I will visit again. :)
