Valle Onsernone

A bike day. Cycled besides the river Maggia to Intragna and then steep up into La Valle Onsernone.

We wanted to see where our local Onsernone granite, the natural stone we used in the bathrooms, terrasse and kitchen, came from.

The valley and the quarry are very impressive, hidden and not easy accessible.

We did in total 40km, 500m altitude and as a reward enjoyed a Prosecco at Albergo Centovalli in Ponte Brolla in the shade of the beautiful garden.
