Alstroemeria

Today has been a long day.

Noo had rugby training at Waldron, so I ran there the long way (about 10.5 miles). Although we had thunder, lightning, and rain last night, it didn’t feel much fresher.

The rain set in late afternoon.

These flowers were given to me by Lindsey. She is the wife of “silly” Paul. Silly Paul drove me to my wedding in his Land Rover, which he sold soon after to Roger Daltrey. They are displayed in my late mother in law’s Clarice Cliff vase. Whilst I am name dropping, I bumped into Jayne Torvill as I came out of Waitrose. I think she might be stalking me because I do often bump into her.
