Dad’s day

Celebrated all over, and lots of activities locally to recognise special dads. I like this picture of my dad visiting the first year we were here. So many years ago, and so many happy memories.

We enjoyed a lovely long walk with Millie in glorious sunshine. Winter is so hard when midday temps are in the 20’s, although the dip as the sun sets is very evident.

We had a fun game of fetch with Millie before heading indoors. She still doesn’t get the concept of bringing the ball back, and Soul is not going to be impressed by the divots she is making in the grass, but she had fun and had us in stitches watching those long legs loup around.
