Lunch

This is a palm tree just off my balcony in Jerusalem. I have been watching this hole in the dead branches for some time and have on occasion seen a bird fly in and out of this hole. I discovered a few days ago that there were some small ones in this hide away that are getting bigger and bigger by the day. It wont be long before they will fly away to get their own food. It has just been fascinating to watch. Now that I have a point and shoot with a very long lens, 500 mm equivalent, I can really zoom in close for this kind of shot. Problem is, they move so very fast, it is really hard to get a sharp image. That is it for today, Lunch at the Palm Tree Restaurant.
