The bug and the rose

There were several of these bugs on the bloom but I blew them off outside, this one crept out of the petals later on inside the kitchen.  I was deadheading the roses and cut this stalk off by mistake.

My niece and her twin sons from Bristol have been staying over night following T and M's party which they hold every year outside on the green.  A good get- together for our very small village and friends from further away.  A warm evening, friends, family, food and music - what more could one want!
