Pretty flowers

The sunshine did not last today. We took a trip for more food supplies and then busied ourselves preparing for the exciting arrival of Mum, Anna and Michael. Sheets to iron, beds to change, cakes to bake, supper to prepare. E played her role in the frantic preparations, as the excitement crescendoed, she braved the rain to pick " pretty flowers" with her Daddy. Then there were squeals of delight as our guests arrived. We are blessed.
