Pollen pantaloons

I have just discoveted that honey bees carry pollen in sacs on their hind legs. Our hawthorn tree is a constant buzz at the moment. It is in fact in the chicken run and the chickens love eating the leaves, so it's lowest branches are bald but the rest is a solid cloud of flowers. If I had a camera with a good zoom I'd have managed a closer shot, but I like the fact that you can see the legs of this bee so clearly.
