Creeping thyme

There is a little flower bed in the front garden which the neighbours cats use as a toilet so I decided to plant something that will give full coverage of the ground to try and deter them.  I planted 5 small creeping thyme plants in April and they are doing really well and spreading quickly.  And now they are in flower.  Apparently you can grown this as a grass alternative for a lawn although I feel it would be too delicate to walk on.
